Delphia 16

Delphia 16 - A true training yacht for the whole family

The Delphia 16 is a training yacht for novice sailors of all ages.

Born from a concept by Karol Jabłoński and Adam Liszkiewicz, the D16 was designed specifically for sailing schools to provide basic seamanship training for children and novice adults.

The Delphia 16 meets all safety requirements in the category of Sports and Training Yachts and, despite its compact size, lends the sensation of a true sailing adventure.

”On board the Delphia 16,children can take the helm for the first time, gain basic skills and learn how to safely move around a vessel as well as how to counter-balance and trim sails. They can also learn sailing terminology and rules of command in addition to standards of proper communication”.
Karol Jabłoński, professional sailor, America’s Cup helmsman, World and European sailing champion.

”The Delphia 16 allows one to begin their seamanship training without the stress of solo sailing or a fear of water and strong winds. This is important since children often lose interest after initial failures, never to return”.  Adam Liszkiewicz, America's Cup sailing manager and trainer.
